We the class of A-124 should be responsible, respectful and have self-discipline. We should have no fighting or arguing. We pledge to be positive and determined to get our work done, to be a friend and to show PRIDE! We are also a bucket-filling gang! We will do whatever we need to do, and we pledge to have fun, today (Date)! We are all family!
This pledge was entirely created by the students, and agreed upon by the class.
We have a few important assignments due next week. The students have been working on a writing assignment that they have taken through the writing process. The final draft of their writing is due next Wednesday, the 26th. I will be taking the class into the computer lab on Tuesday to type them up, but they are required to either be typed or handwritten in blue or black ink. Many of them may have been working on them at home! Also on Wednesday is our first math test over place value, decimals and division. They have been working hard in class to master these skills. On Monday, your student will get a study guide for the test, and it will be homework if it is not finished in class.
Our newest book order is going home tonight, if you'd like to order from it, please have orders placed online, or returned to school by October 5th. I just received confirmation that our Scholastic order from last month is on its way to Mill Creek.
Tonight is our Paradise Park night in Lee's Summit from 5-8:00PM. This is a great fundraiser for our school, and it's a lot of fun for everyone! I hope to see all of you there!
